 Nick: "So, Tomi-san...how have you been doing? I heard from Kei that you were her colleague at Bear Steans but left around January?"
Tomi: "Yeah, man..I think last time we met I was still with Mizuho and then I changed to Bear..doing Emerging Markets stuffs as well, but kinda different smell. And yep..I left the firm around January."
Nick: "So where do you work now?"
Tomi: "I'm doing my own biz now..doing stuffs related to trading on weekdays and organizing parties like this on the weekend. Nothing glamorous though..just to make the ends meet..haha"
Nick: "Dude, that's cool! So, are you saying you're a daytrader and celebrity at the same time?"
Tomi: "Hahaha..daytrader, yes, celebrity not so sure though..it will be great if I can be like Peter Thiel one day..haha. Anyway, what I really like now is FREEDOMMM *OMG he was shouting..well, it's his party anyway* hahaha. How about you, my friend?"
Nick: "Hahaha..awesome!!! Such a great combo, right...financial freedom and "free" time..do what you want to do and loving every second of it. For me..ahh..still making coffees and buying bento for the big boys..haha.."
Tomi: "Well, life is about choices, buddy..you can be one of the big boys too if you want to, but the question is..do you really want to? Hehe..repeat after me..freedommmmmm! *he shouted to the floor again and this time I joined him..hahaha*

After that short "introduction" session, Tomi-san excused himself to greet his other guests. I told him that it would be great if we could continue the conversation later on and he agreed as long as I could make Kei-chan joined the tequila contest. "No problemo, Cuervo is Kei-chan's middle name anyway..haha" I told him while dodging Kei-chan's punches to my arms. "Alright, friends..please excuse me...man has to earn some living now" said Tomi-san as he winked to Kei.

The crowd was getting bigger and louder as time passed by. It was around 1 in the morning and it got harder to walk around from one spot to another point. I had to say that I'm impressed as the venue was actually pretty big and I think right now any sober man could easily find about 400 guests. "Wow..a private party with 400 attendance..sweett." As I hopped around and talking to people, I started to realize that it's actually not an ordinary crowd. Though the main composition is kinda usual, it could be splitted further: the Richie Richs, the market players, and the models. It's just like "buy side meets sell side, with eye candy bonus". Then, I remembered that Tomi-san was talking with a group of traders regarding what's hot in the market earlier and now I saw him talking with..hmm..I think they're part of ultra-wealthy family in Japan...well, just to make it short.."THE buy side". Wait a minute.."Yes, I'm a daytrader".."Freedom"...ahahahahaha...

Dengan membandingkan ke empat indeks diatas dengan pergerakan IHSG


Maka dapat diambil kesimpulan sbb:
- Sektor agri yang semula memiliki performance diatas IHSG yang lain saat ini sedang mengalami perlambatan momentum hal ini terlihat dari posisi performance chart Agri yang sedikit dibawah IHSG

-Sektor minning memiliki performance yang mendekati IHSG, tapi dalam 2 bulan belakangan inii sektor minning terlihat tertinggal jauh

- Sektor manufaktur dan sektor consumer memiliki perforamce yang relatif bagus dibandingkan IHSG. kedua sektor ini memiliki korelasi positif.selain itu karena didukung oleh tingkat inflasi yang stabil kedua sektor ini cenderung stabil untuk mempertahankan performancenya di atas pergerakan IHSG.

Therefore, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) is possibly to continue advances to a higher level. From the pattern analysis, we see that JCI is moving in wave 5:5 since there was no an overlap section, and then its indicates a trend rather than a correction. The next high probability target of the JCI is around 3,020-3,060 on 14-15 Jul or 22 Jul 10, just 3 - 4 days from the total solar eclipse event, also Venus Trine Pluto on 14 July 10. This financial astrological event might lift the JCI to a better value.

Traders and investors could consider to buy finance, automotive, cement and consumer stocks. BUMI IJ is also attractive with short-term target Rp2,150. Meanwhile BMRI IJ has opportunity to reaches Rp6,500 then Rp6,750.

She said that she's still on her way so I told her that I would wait for her outside.

As I was waiting for her, I looked around the entrance. Well well..a hip place on Friday night, "good looking" people lining up and trying to look cool and gorgeous. To see and be seen..*yaaawnnnn*..a one too many similar scenes I've seen in my life. It's already ages ago when I had my first step into the night life..a journey that started way back to the time when I was still a high school student in Yogyakarta. Hmm..what's the name of the place again..was it Crazy Horse or Papillon? Ah, whatever..I don't even think it exists anymore. You know..back then, I didn't even smoke or drink and really all I wanted was to show off my "disco" skill under the mirror balls. Haha..such a memory, isn't it?

Kei-chan arrived about 15 minutes later and she was with two of her girlfriends. "Gomen ne, Nick..we couldn't get taxi right away" said Kei to me after she gave me a hug. "By the way, this is Jane and Yumi..girls, this is Nick." "That's alright. Hello, I'm Nick..pleasure to meet you." After some blah blah introduction, I asked them to get inside. As Kei-chan already had the invitation, we could cut the line and passed the bouncers. It's about 11.20 and as it's kind of a private party, there were already some crowds inside. Alright, let the ball rolling..

I actually found some of my acquaintances and recognized some familiar faces inside. I think, right now majority of the crowds are dudes from financial industry *yawnnnnnn* and as the music wasn't played too loud I could hear some of them already started bragging in front of some girls. Boring money talks. Then, I remember that the reason I came was to meet the guy..to see whether he's that person I know or not. So, I wanted to ask Kei if she already saw him or not but I saw Kei-chan was busy talking with her friends. Ahh..night is still young anyway..I guess I should just get a drink.

As I walked back from the bar with a gin tonic on my hand, I saw Kei-chan was talking with a guy. She waved at me and asking me to come. Hmm..that dude looks familiar, I think that's the guy..Tomi-san.

Kei-chan: "Nick, this is the organizer I told you before..Tomi-san."
Nick: "Hi, I'm Nick..nice party. By the way, we met before right? About 2 years ago?"
Tomi: "Hi, Nick..thanks. Yes, I think so. You're from Indonesia, right?"
Nick: "Yes! Cool..hisashiburi desu ne! How are you doing, man?! I still remember about your story when you're in Papua! Haha.."
Tomi: "Hahaha..I remember you too, man! You're the one who got chased by some angry mobs in Yogya, right! Dude, where have you been! Welcome to my party!"

I began to feel that it's going to be a fun night..I believe I'm about to hear a great turnaround story pretty soon..nice..

Summary:
Kami menyimpulkan bahwa saham PGAS memiliki performa yang baik secara jangka panjang (6 bulan hingga 1 tahun) untuk menjadi salah satu komposisi portfolio investor. Dengan peluang target harga Rp4,500 dalam kurun waktu 12 bulan kedepan maka kami yakin bahwa PGAS layak untuk di koleksi.

Pergerakan impulsive wave jangka panjang sebagai faktor positif. Kami yakin bahwa PGAS sedang bergerak dalam fase koreksi dengan skala intermediate. Setelah koreksi berakhir besar kemungkinan PGAS akan kembali memasuki trend bull jangka panjang dengan 5 gelombang impulsive. Oleh karena itu, kami tetap memiliki view positif terhadap saham ini.

Fase akumulasi akan segera dimulai. PGAS memiliki peluang bergerak dalam sebuah fase akumulasi dengan kurun waktu 1-3 bulan yang mungkin dimulai pada bulan Agustus-September 2010. Dengan adanya peluang koreksi dengan kedalaman menengah maka PGAS akan cukup menarik perhatian investor untuk memulai proses akumulasi. Pattern yang mungkin akan terbentuk adalah ABC correction pada weekly time frame. Namun, untuk pergerakan 4 minggu kedepan, PGAS cukup menarik untuk short-term trading, dengan target harga terdekat pada Rp4,150. Beli pada saat koreksi adalah strategi yang paling baik untuk bermain di saham ini.

Monthly momentum mendekati area oversold. Berdasarkan studi indikator momentum kami menyimpulkan bahwa resiko jangka panjang di saham ini sudah semakin kecil. Pada saat monthly momentum memasuki area oversold, maka range penurunan akan terbatas. Pada fase akhir akumulasi, kemungkinan perlemahan momentum ini akan mencapai titik jenuh penurunan hingga dibawah 25%.

As I reached for my cellphone to see the time, I found out that it's still 4.28 in the morning. "Great..". Argh..I hate to be awaken up like this. I closed my eyes and tried to get some more sleep..but, my mind came back to what happened yesterday at the office. "..we need you for another project.." Damn it..oh come on, can't I have some peace of mind..at least for just some good hours in the morning?

Finally I woke up again around 6.30. When I looked outside the window..gosh, I could see that the wind had been blowing so strong. I guess what was a cloudy day yesterday turned out to be an all night long rain and by looking at the tickness of the clouds..seemed like it would be raining the whole day as well. Hmmmmmm...Friday and rainy..what a perfect day to call a sick leave..hehehe. Who cares about Project Orange Juice anyway..

I spent the rest of the morning by following all the news feed I got about the market. Did some analysis on how Yahoo was trying to fight Microsoft's bid, trying to guess what BoJ will do under the proposed "new" leadership and how the market will react to it. Then, as I checked some interesting job postings on FT Thursday edition..I got bored already. It's around 11 and I'm getting hungry. Though the weather is terrible out there, definitely I'm not in the mood for any bento lunch in my messy room. I don't mind embrace the rain but it's too sabishii to eat alone. Wait..maybe Kei-chan available for lunch around here. Not a bad idea at all..let me send a message to her cellphone and see what's she up to. Click click click..message sent.

Aha. My guess was right. Kei-chan was actually not coming to work too and we ended up having lunch together at a pasta place in Shinbashi. We had some interesting conversations on both work and personal life. While we're waiting for our deserts to come, I asked Kei whether she knew any interesting event tonight. She said that she's not so sure but she heard something about a party that's gonna be thrown out by one of ex-traders from her company.

Kei-chan: "I heard that Tomi-san is throwing a party at ALife tonight. If you have no plan, why don't we check it out?"
Nick: "Who is Tomi-san? Do you think I know him?"
Kei-chan: "Not so sure whether you know him or not..but he was one of the emerging market traders in my company."
Nick: "Oh, really? Then what happened? He got sacked?"
Kei-chan: "I don't think so. He left the company right after the bonus day. I heard he's doing some business by himself now and also sometime organizing parties. It's kinda surprising coz we all thought that he was a quite calm guy..we never knew that he's such a party animal."
Nick: "Wait a minute..did you say he was into emerging market before?"
Kei-chan: "Yep..why?"
Nick: "I used to know a Japanese trader whose name also Tomi..but he was with a Japanese bank before..and as far as I can remember he was a quite conservative guy."
Kei-chan: "That could be him..coz I think he was from Mizuho before Bear."
Nick: "Interesting...hey, let's go there tonight. What time should we meet?"
Kei-chan: "How about 11? I'll have dinner with my girlfriends so I'll go there after that."
Nick: "Lovely! Bring your girlfriends too! haha.."
Kei-chan: "Haha..let me see if they want to come along and meet the infamous Nick-san."

We finished our lunch around 2 and then we separated as Kei-chan had appointment with her nail salon. I went straight back to home..and the first thing I did was checking my Rolodex. Somehow I was a bit curious about this Tomi guy..because if it's him then he must be that Japanese Hawaiian guy who went backpacking for about 2 months across Indonesia. Could it be him? If so, must be very interesting to find out about his story...let's see tonight...
